Swatch & Review: BECCA Limited Edition Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector

I was given a gift card to Sephora for Christmas and I knew exactly what I was going to spend it on. I've had my eye on this beauty for over a month now but just never pulled the trigger. The BECCA Rose Gold Shimmering Skin Perfector ($38.00) is an absolutely stunning highlighter. According to Sephora:

"This creamy powder luminizer is like crushed gemstones in a compact for refined luminosity in any light. The formula features ultrafine luminescent pearls that adjust and become one with your skin so your perfect glow is never lost. Unlike the traditional pressed powder method, which simply mixes and compresses dry ingredients, this proprietary formula is a blend of wet and dry pigments ensuring a balanced application every time. "

I am in love with this product. It does almost feel like a cream product when applied to the skin. This product gives such a luminous glow that makes you look like an angel (even when you may not act like one). I need to check out more from this line.

Have you tried this or anything from the BECCA line?

MAC Extra Dimension Blush: At Dusk

I was killing some time at Nordstrom yesterday and I just happened to find the new collection with the Extra Dimension products. There were blushes, eyeshadows, and skim finishes. This blush caught my eye right away. At Dusk is a beautiful light pink blush with a sheen that is absolutely stunning. This blush lights up the cheeks and makes your complexion look amazing. I am kicking myself for not grabbing more from this collection but I will definantely keep my eye out for anything with the Extra dimension finish to it in upcoming collections. If you can find this at your local MAC pick this up, you won't be disappointed.

Swatch & Review: Loreal Holiday 2013 Limited Edition Colour Riche Pop Balms: 176 Vineyard Peach, 174 Lilac Sweetness

I finally found this display in my local Wegmans store and I snatched these up. There are four new shades but I only picked up two. 171 Ballet Show was too bubblegummy pink for me and 172 Dragon Fruit is a brighter coral pink but it was sold out . I'd be interested in finding that somewhere though so the hunt continues.

Onto the two I did purchase, 174 Lilac Sweetness is a creamy mauve color that is absolutely stunning. When I first saw the name Lilac Sweetness i thought oh its gonna be purple but it is a very subtle mauvey tone that is a "my lips but better" shade for me. Love it!

176 Vineyard Peach is a bright creamy peach color that is stunning. I love to pat this onto my lips for a nice flush of color, because swiping it on full force can make it a little too loud for me. I love this color with a warm smokey eye.

These colors are beautiful. Has anyone tried 172 Dragonfruit? Let me know what you think.

Covergirl truMagic skin Perfector

Okay so I saw this product at my local Harmons and I grabbed it. I think this product is supposed to be a dupe of the Mally Beauty Evercolor Poreless Face Defender. Now my understanding of this product is that you use this on top of your finished face makeup to blur lines and give an overall airbrushed look. I haven't actually used this yet but I will play around and report back.

Swatch & Review: Wet n Wild Megalast Color Balms

I spotted these at my local Harmons the other day and scooped them up. The Wet n Wild Megalast Color Balms retail for $2.69 BUT there was a $1.00 off coupon on each product making them $1.69 plus i used my Bed Bath and Beyond 20% coupons on my order making them even cheaper than that. You really can't beat Harmons. They have new products first and they are always cheaper than drugstores, plus when you use the %20 off BB&B coupons it's a major steal. Onto the balm stains,
these are Wet n Wilds version of the chubby crayon craze. They are nice and creamy and last fairly well on the lips. There is a nice variety of colors and they definantely give the revlon balms a run for their money.

Have you spotted these in your area? Give them a try if so, i don't think you'll be disappointed.
