GOT IT

I was going about my usual business one day last week when I got a very exciting email. Sephora send me a message informing me that the Anastasia Contour kit was back in stock. I ran (not kidding) to my purse and grabbed my card and purchased within about 3 minutes. I have been waiting for this product to be restocked for MONTHS now. I have been playing around with it a little bit since and I like it, I can't say yet if I love it or it's life changing yet.

The colors are beautiful and they apply nicely. I think I just have to master the art of contouring and highlighting a little better and I have been practicing and getting better. If you are a contouring fiend or makeup hoarder like me I would say that this kit is worth it. I'm just not sure if I will have a use for all of the colors but I will come back with a more in depth review shortly and give you my final verdict.

HIGH END QUALITY AT THE DRUGSTORE?

I love the brand Milani, but one of the things that has never done it for me was their eyeshadows. I just have never found a formula that has worked well on me and with there being so many other great shadows at the drugstore I always gravitated towards other brands. But I saw on NouveauCheap (who I adore) that Milani had released new Gel Powder Eyeshadows. This sparked my interest so I ran to my local Walgreens and I spotted the whole untouched display. I ended up purchasing five shades in total and I am OBSESSED. These shadows feel like nothing at the drugstore currently. The formula kind of reminds me of the MAC In Extra Dimension formula, how it feels creamy but the product itself is a powder. The pigmentation of these products is insane. One swipe and you get intense color. Let's get to the pictures!

Are you as excited as I am about these shadows?

Let's be honest, I will probably have them all soon.

Retail: $4.29 at Walgreens/CVS

NEW LOREAL GOODNESS

There have been so many new releases from the drugstore lately that I have been struggling to keep up! I found two new displays from Loreal at my local Walgreens the other evening so I picked up a few products and I am in love with them.

First up is the Glossy Balms. These are Loreals version of the ever so popular chubby lip pencil. I love these pencils. They are super creamy and moisturizing on the lips while delivering a beautiful pop of color. I had for restrain myself and only pick up three but I am so impressed with these that I definitely see myself purchasing more in the future.  These pencils last about 3 hours on the lips before a touch up is needed but they feel so good that I don't mind applying more. the gloss lasts throughout the whole wear and there is no stain left behind, at least with the colors I've tried. There were so many beautiful shades for this fall but I picked up three of the more summery shades to try first.
Retail: $5.99 at Target and drugstores. They will probably be a little more pricey at drugstores.

210 Ginger Candy
A beautiful peachy nude.

240 Pink Me Up
A beautiful pinky magenta color.

220 Innocent Coral
A punchy orangey coral color.
This will be my summer staple.

I also found the new Visible Lift Blur Blushes. These are fabulous! They have that silicone primer feeing on the skin but they deposit the perfect flush of color that lasts all day long. This product makes your skin feel so soft and it kind of blurs out your imperfections and gives the skin an airbrushed appearance, as the name suggests.
Retail: $11.99 at Target and drugstores

501 Soft Peach

503 Soft Berry
This gives that perfect rosy flash to the cheeks like you been running around outside. Love it!

I am very impressed with the new offerings from Loreal lately.

Have you tried any of their products? Let me know what you think!

FINALLY

I finally got my hands on the ever so famous Whitening Lightening/Gerard Cosmetics Color Your Smile Lipglosses. These glosses have been talked about for forever. I held out for as long as I could but seeing that Jaclyn Hill came out with her own color of lipgloss I made a purchase instantly. We all know that Jaclyn Hill wouldn't steer us wrong so I knew her gloss would be fabulous.

The colors I picked up are nude, raspberry sherbet, and rose hill.

I have to say that these glosses are as fabulous as everyone says. They are creamy and highly pigmented. You can wear these alone or over lipstick for a more intense look.

Raspberry Sherbet

"Raspberry Sherbet was inspired by long summer days filled with our favorite ice-cold sweet treats. This bold and juicy hue is ideal for days when you want to steal the spot-light and is a bright pink every girl needs in her makeup bag. Mix this color with other lighter hues to tone it down or rock it on its own and indulge in the fun of this stand-out lip gloss."

Nude

"Our fresh and fun lighted lip gloss contains collagen peptides to boost moisture and fullness for the perfect pout. NUDE is a creamy, full coverage gloss, a sultry hue that pairs well with an ultra dramatic smokey eye or an everyday look. Our best-seller and a staple for any lip junkie."

The handle of the lip gloss lights up when you open it making it easy to reapply when your out at night or in the club. Partayy!

Rose Hill

"Rose Hill is a romantic and feminine hue created by beauty expert Jaclyn Hill. Springtime is an inspiring and uplifting season that allows you to experiment with more playful colors so after going through her entire collection she realized that the world needed the perfect rosy red for the everyday glamazon.Ultra Pigmented and buttery smooth, this full coverage gloss can be worn alone toned down with our famous nude gloss (one of Jaclyn’s beauty secrets). See the makeup world through Rose Colored Glasses and shop Jaclyn’s favorites below."

These glosses are amazing. If you are on the fence like I was for a while i definitely think you should take the leap and purchase them.

NOT YOUR NORMAL LIP BALM

You know I love me a good lip product. So when I saw Mallory1712 raving about the Cailyn Cosmetics Tinted Lip Balm in Natural I was curious. I did my research and watched a few review videos and everyone loved these lip balms. So of course I wanted to try them out for myself. I ordered Natural first and then decided to also pick up Acid Pink. I wanted to pick up more but limited myself to two, for right now anyway.

These lip balms are nothing like any other balm i have tried. These products are loaded with intense color while still moisturizing the lips and lasting a fairly decent amount of time. The packaging is also super fun and convenient. Let's take a look at these beauties!

First up is Natural. A beautiful pinky browny nude color. I know, be jealous of my descriptive skills.

I love that there is a brush in the handle of the lid. This makes reapplying on the go super easy.

The other color I decided to pick up is called Acid Pink. This color is hard to capture on film because it is super neon, think highlighter color. I absolutely love this color, it brightens up your face and looks amazing with a tan. This is going to be my go-to color this summer.

I am very impressed with these lip colors. The mix of intense colors with the comfortability of a lip balm is just fabulous and I see a few more colors being added to my collection in the near future.

Have you tried any of these lip colors? I'd love to know your favorite colors.

Retail: $19.00 each at www.cailyncosmetics.com
