CHEEKY SWEET SPOT

Okay guys, so I went a little crazy at the Sephora VIB sale. I also picked up the Benefit Cheeky Sweet Spot Box o' Blushes. I love the Benefit boxed blushes but currently I only own Rockateur so i thought this was the perfect little set to build back my collection. 

This set includes: Dandelion, Bella Bamba, Sugarbomb, Hoola, Coralista and Rockateur blushes, as well as the Watts Up! highlighter. The quality of these powders are the same as if you purchased them individually which is really nice because I hate when you purchase a holiday set and the quality is not on point. 

I think this set is one of the best bangs for your buck this holiday season. Unfortunately I cannot find this product online but if you go to your local Sephora or Ulta I'm sure you can find it. I think this set is in the $30 range which is fabulous for the amount of product that you get.

PULP FICTION

When i was looking around the Sephora website making my order for the VIB 20% off sale I stumbled upon this gem. Urban Decay shadows are one of my most favorite so when i saw this palette on sale for $16.00 plus another 20% off I couldn't pass it up. 

The colors are everyday neutrals and will go well with a lot of my other brighter palettes. The formulation is on par with all Urban Decay shadows: creamy and intensely pigmented. 

Unfortunately this palette is sold out on the Sephora website but you can purchase it on the Urban Decay website for $16.00 so I would definitely pick it up.

FALL FASHION LOVES

Fall is my favorite season for fashion; and well pretty much everything else. I just love to mix up my fashion choices and try new things during this season and i really seem to step outside of the box more so than any other season. Here are a few pieces that I think are staples for every closet. 

A Line Skirts

One of my favorite looks incudes a skirt, tights, and sweater. A line skirts are the best choice to created that look because they flatter every body type and they are just the right length for shorter girls (like me). 

Old Navy has a few that i think are perfect for the season without having to break the bank.

I love this leather one. i have worn this out twice already and have gotten compliments both times. The leather makes it really easy to transition from late summer to fall and all throughout the winter. With a $29.94 price tag you can afford to buy a few of them.

I also purchased this ponte knit style as well. This will be great when you are not in the mood for leather but still want to rock this style. It's also on sale for $20.00! You need it.

The next trend that I love is the blanket scarf. This super big flowy scarf is perfect for the cooler months. This piece can be worn so many different ways; I even bring this with my to my boyfriends soccer games and wrap it around me like a blanket (hence the name blackout scarf). 

The one I punched this year is from online boutique called Leopard & Latte. They have some of the cutest accessories and when I saw this scarf I immediately put it in my cart and purchased it. Every girl needs a great wear-everywhere, cozy scarf. This one fits the bill for me!

The last trend that I am going to be focusing on today is the bootie. This fall/winter staple never goes out of style and flatters everyone. 

I love this particular bootie because of the v-cut in the front of the shoe. This style shows off your ankle so beautifully. The classic black color makes these shoes easy to wear with almost any outfit. I have already worn these with my old navy skirt and also a pair of jeans and have loved them both ways.

I also am loving the wedge bootie. These are perfect when you want the height of wearing a heel but you also want to be comfortable. I love these for a night out because they also pair well with just about everything. I also love the pop of floral on the top of these booties.

LOVE ME SOME MATTE

I found these bad boys at Target the other day and I just about jumped for joy. I absolutely love matte lips and I'm glad we bow have more drugstores options.  I restrained myself from buying the whole collection and limited myself to three.

COLOURPOP

These are the prettiest shadows I have ever seen in my life.  I am so in love with these colors. 

ColourPop cosmetics is a fairly new company that offers bright and vibrant eyeshadows that are creamy and majorly pigmented. The best part? They're $5 a pop. I know, right?

I purchased seven colors but I can totally see myself having them all. These shadows give a punch of color and are so fun for parties, the weekend, or if you're like me, everyday.

The shadows came packaged very carefully and there was even a hand written note thanking me for my purchase. Little touches like that make me feel special and want to place more orders. 

The Colourpop eye shadows are a cream to powder shadow that lasts all day long with minimal fading and fallout. They say to keep the lid closed tight to prevent the shadow from drying out.
