CAN'T STOP WON'T STOP

I swung by my local Sephora the other day just to look ;) and to my surprise I left with a few things.

Makeup Forever Artist Shadow Trio $44.00

L to R: I804: Golden Pink  ME910: Electric Magents  ME912: Orchid

I'm not necessarily super impressed with the formula of these shadows but it was the colors that sucked me in. These three shadows are unlike anything I have in my collection. I had to have them.

Nars Audacious Liipstick: Raquel  $32.00

I've been wanting to try one of these lipsticks for a while so I picked a neutral everyday color so that I could get a lot of use out of it. I've only worn it once but so far I'm impressed with the formulation. 

Smashbox Be Legendary Long Wear Lip Lacquer: Lilac $24.00

I've eyed these up for months now but I could never decide on a shade but today I saw this beautiful pinky purple color and fell in love. The formulation of this gloss is really great. It feels comfortable on the lips and the pigmentation is amazing. I can totally see me picking up some more colors in the spring/summer because they have some beautiful bright colors.

REBEL BLOOM

 When I saw that the new Maybelline Spring 2015 Collection was released and people were finding them at Harmons I ran to mine right away and was lucky enough to find the whole collection. 

There is everything including a new foundation, powder, primer concealer, nail polish and color elixirs but I grabbed the lipsticks first. The ColorSensational Rebel Bloom collection is without a doubt the prettiest collection of drugstore lipsticks out there. There are 8 in this collection but i picked up 6. The two i didn't get were a pinky red and a darker violet but I will probably end up getting those eventually.  For $5.49 I have to have them all.

As you can see these colors are right on trend for the springtime.

Wet n Wild Megalast lipstick in 903c Just Peachy. 

This light peachy matte color is perfect for spring/summer. It makes your lips look super pouty and full. For $1.99 I think it's worth a try!

DOSE OF COLORS

I have been wanting to try the Dose of Colors lipsticks for months now after hearing rave review after rave review but they have been sold out online. So when I saw that everything was back in stocl on the Dose of Colors website I quickly placed my order. The color that I knew I wanted from the beginning was Love Potion so I placed that color in my cart right away. After that I was deciding which other one to purchase because the shipping is a flat rate of $5.50 so I wanted to make it worth it. When I saw there were two new shades released I checked them out and right away knew Sorbet was the second lipstick I wanted so I quickly paid and squealed with excitement. 

When I received these products and tested them out I was not disappointed. Dose of Color lipsticks are very pigmented and creamy. The wear time is about four hours before I feel like I need to reapply which is pretty good for me because I am always either drinking something or talking or both. 

I am very happy with these lipsticks overall. I tried to pick two colors that were somewhat unique to my collection of mostly nudes and baby pinks. I also love that these lipsticks are vegan, gluten free, and cruelty free.

Love Potion is a fabulous bright pinky purple color that just makes your face glow. This color is stunning and pretty unique. I have a hard time finding purple colors that do not make my teeth look yellow so this is an exciting find. 

The other color is purchased is Sorbet which is an equally stunning peachy pinky coral color that I am going to rock all summer long. I have tried this color on a bunch of my friends with different skin tones and hair colors and it looked awesome on each one of them.

IMATS HAUL PART ONE: CITY COLOR COSMETICS

I had such an amazing time at IMATS NYC last week. I saw a bunch of my favorite beauty vloggers and of course got to try out and purchase a bunch of new cosmetics. First up I stopped at the City Color Cosmetics booth because I've heard nothing but good things about their products; especially their blushes. So I looked around and found some great new products.

First up I went to check out the blushes and I was very surprised when I swatched the testers. I purchased a bunch of their Be Matte blushes and I am very surprised with the quality of these. They are highly pigmented and blendable and I have been trying all of the colors out and they are all amazing.

Next up are the Matte Lipsticks. These are nice and creamy and pigmented without being overly drying. I find that I do have to apply a gloss or balm on top of these after a few hours but overall they are pretty comfortable to wear.

Last but not least are the Matte to Gloss lip colors. I love that there is a gloss that matches the color of the lipstick because the lipstick is just about the same consistency of the matte lipsticks so after a couple hours its nice to have a gloss included to top the lipstick, especially a gloss that is the same color. I love these but when I tried to look on the website to see what other colors there were I was unable to find them so I'm not sure whats going on there but if you can find these definantely pick them up.

Overall I am very happy with the quality of these products. I would definitely check them out if you are looking for some inexpensive products that are of great quality.
