NEW MAC GOODIES

I wandered into MAC the other day on a whim and walked out with a few new lippies, what else is new? I first had my eye on the new lipsticks that were rereleased. I first grabbed Relentlessly Red. Now, I am not usually one for red lip colors on me but I've seen a few girls sporting this color and I think it has enough pink in it to be wearable. I love the formulation of MAC's Matte lip colors so I grabbed this beaut. 

Next up is Pink Pigeon. Now I've seen this raved about for years but this color was limited edition, so when I heard that Pink Pigeon was made permanent I was all on it. Pink Pigeon is a bright, almost neon, hot pink also with that matte formula that I love. This color looks amazing on the lips and also makes your teeth look white. I love this lipstick as well. 

Now that was all that I had my eye on put when I walked past the new Playland collection of course I checked it out and ended up picking up a couple lip glasses. 

Carousel is a bright clean blue based pink that gives your face a brightness and glow to your face. 

Last but not least is Lots of Laughs. This peachy coral is amazing and will look great with a tan. 

I am very excited about these lip colors and I will be wearing these all spring and summer long.

ULTA HAUL

I walked into Ulta the other day just thinking that I was going to swatch the new Lorac summer palette and I walked out with the palette…and a few other things.

Spring was in the air. There were so many new products that were bright and right on for the season. Let's get into it. 

 Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow: 03 frosted apple

This pinky rose-gold color is perfect. There is gold shimmer throughout and when applied to the eye it gives such a beautiful sparkle that makes your eyes pop. For $2.99 I couldn't resist. 

Zoya Nail Polish: Monet

I was already stocked up and waiting in line to checkout when I saw a display of Zoya polishes. This color immediately caught my eye. The way this color shines in the sunlight is absolutely stunning. I have tried this polish on top of pink, nude, and mint colors and it looks great on each. 

Nails Inc Polish: Regents Place

I've been on the lookout for a periwinkle color so when I saw it I knew this would be mine. The formulation of this polish is very think but covers well and lasted about four days on me before starting to chip.

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick: Melted Coral

I have been so interested in these lip colors since they have been released but never saw one in person. When I saw this color and swatched it on my hand I knew it was love and I scooped one up. This formula lasts all day on the lips with a subtle sheen. These colors are not drying at all. 

And finally, the reason I made the trip to Ulta that day. 

Lorac AfterGLO palette for summer 2014

These shadows are right on point for spring/summer and the formulation is not bad either. Now these are not the best shadows I've ever used, and they are a far cry from the pro palette quality, but overall I think they are worth a shot. I've created a few different looks so far with this and I am very happy.

I definitely think $24.00 is a great price for this palette.

NEW MAC GOODNESS

I haven't bought anything from MAC for a while so when I saw there were a few new releases that looked promising I decided to take a look. 

Modern Mandarin Blush originally came out with the Tres Cheek collection a few springs back and I beat myself up for not picking it up after seeing everyone raving about this blush so when I heard that Modern Mandarin was recently made permanent, I jumped on it.

Next up are the new PatentPolish Lip Pencils. These are limited edition so I decided to take a look at them while I was in store and I am so glad I did. The formula of these polishes is absolutely amazing. These are one of the best products MAC has released in a long time. They feel balmy on the lips but are packed with color and the shades that were released are perfect for spring. I couldn't help myself, I bought four, and i want more. Help me.
