IMATS NYC HAUL PART TWO: LIMECRIME, PRESTIGE, SIGMA

So the two booths that I was most excited to check out at IMATS were Limecrime and Sigma. I guess everyone else was also because I waited an hour for Limecrime and almost two hours for Sigma but it was worth the wait and I made a few friends along the way so I didn't really seem like that long overall.

First up is Limecrime; the products I was most excited to pick up were their lipsticks. I already have babette and coquette but I wanted to check out some of their brighter colors for spring. When I got up to the testers I basically picked up every color that appealed to me…what can I say? I went a little crazy. These lipsticks are absolutely beautiful. Creamy, pigmented and very comfortable on the lips. Let's just say I'm obsessed.

I also have had my eye on this bright lime green liquid liner so I grabbed that as well during my makeup rampage. This color is BAM in your face but I think pairing this with a neutral eye and onto of black eye liner will help tone it down.

Next up was Sigma aka the longest line I've ever waited in my life. I didn't care though I was dead set on purchasing a few things. I picked up a few brushes but when I saw their makeup on display I picked up these gems as well.

I've heard a bunch of people talking about how unique this color is so I wanted to pick it up while it was right in front of me. Hint is really an unique color; a purpley taupe nude is how I would describe it but it looks beautiful on the lips and I think this will look awesome as a nude gloss when you have a tan.

I also have been curious about the eyeshadow base in Awake. This light baby pink color is beautiful for brightening any color and really making your eyes look awake.

After leaving IMATS we walked around the city while trying to make our way back to the train station and I ran into a two floor Duane Reade so you know I was in there like swimwear. They had every drugstore brand and even some higher end skincare brands. The only thing that struck my fancy was one of these new Prestige eyeshadows. This metallic pink color is beautiful and the consistency is so cool. It's almost cream like, very interesting.

So that's it for my NYC IMATS haulage. I went overboard, I know but it;s only once a year so I did it up.

IMATS HAUL PART ONE: CITY COLOR COSMETICS

I had such an amazing time at IMATS NYC last week. I saw a bunch of my favorite beauty vloggers and of course got to try out and purchase a bunch of new cosmetics. First up I stopped at the City Color Cosmetics booth because I've heard nothing but good things about their products; especially their blushes. So I looked around and found some great new products.

First up I went to check out the blushes and I was very surprised when I swatched the testers. I purchased a bunch of their Be Matte blushes and I am very surprised with the quality of these. They are highly pigmented and blendable and I have been trying all of the colors out and they are all amazing.

Next up are the Matte Lipsticks. These are nice and creamy and pigmented without being overly drying. I find that I do have to apply a gloss or balm on top of these after a few hours but overall they are pretty comfortable to wear.

Last but not least are the Matte to Gloss lip colors. I love that there is a gloss that matches the color of the lipstick because the lipstick is just about the same consistency of the matte lipsticks so after a couple hours its nice to have a gloss included to top the lipstick, especially a gloss that is the same color. I love these but when I tried to look on the website to see what other colors there were I was unable to find them so I'm not sure whats going on there but if you can find these definantely pick them up.

Overall I am very happy with the quality of these products. I would definitely check them out if you are looking for some inexpensive products that are of great quality.
